Your Night at the Invalides

Every Wednesday to Saturday from July 12th to August 30th, the Court of Honour at the Invalides is the setting for an exceptional show. For 50 minutes, 3000 years of history will unfold before your amazed eyes, projected onto the walls of this beautiful historic building. Meet the Gauls, Louis XIV, Napoleon, and the rest of the key players who shaped the City of Light down through the centuries from the Roman settlement of Lutetia to today.

The Hotel des Invalides with its golden dome, colonnades, and huge paved courtyard, is one of the finest examples of classical architecture. An embodiment of the genius of Louis XIV’s favourite architect, Jules Hardouin-Mansart, who designed Versailles and the Place Vendôme. When buying your ticket for the show, you can add a night tour of the Dôme des Invalides. You’ll also want to return during the day and browse the amazing collections of old weapons, paintings and uniforms in the Army Museum.
