Paris is full of attractions and activities for the whole family. From the banks of the Seine to the Jardin du Luxembourg, from the Ferris wheel of the Tuileries to the wonderful Louvre Museum, everyone finds plenty to do.

Across the city and over the water

A walk with the children can start at the Pont Neuf not far from the hotel, on the newly landscaped banks of the Seine. While you walk hand in hand, your kids can let off steam while running, jumping and even climbing if the via ferratas installed at the height of the Châtelet and the Hôtel de Ville tempt them! Then it will be time to check if they have their sea legs by jumping aboard a riverboat and taking a cruise on the Seine. However, if you prefer the quietness of the canals and the charm of their locks, head to the Port de l'Arsenal, or perhaps you can take a small boat along the Saint-Martin Canal to the Parc de la Villette.

Museums and gardens

The Egyptian section is the star attraction of the Louvre and the ideal place to begin your visit to this magnificent museum. The Palais de la Découverte science museum, the Cité des Sciences, and the Grand Galerie de l'Evolution will enchant your children. If they still have some energy left, take them to the Jardin du Luxembourg, where the grand old wooden carrousel still delights the young ones as it has for generations. Then climb the hill of Montmartre to explore its picturesque streets, tuck into delicious pastries and ride the funicular railway. Have a lovely family holiday!
